Frequently asked questions about TPWallet

Private keys and recovery phrases are stored only on your local device. TPWallet does not back them up or upload them to any server. You must manually back up the 12/24-word recovery phrase. Write it on paper and store it in a safe place. Never screenshot it or send it to anyone.

First, check the transaction status with a blockchain explorer such as Etherscan or BscScan by entering the transaction hash (TxID). Possible causes include network congestion, a gas fee that is too low, an incorrect destination address, or the token needing to be bridged. Solutions: retry with a higher gas fee and check whether the address is compatible with the token's chain, for example, BEP-20 tokens must be sent to a BSC address.

Tap the "+" in the top-right corner of the wallet home page and select "Add Custom Token." Enter the token contract address from the project's official website or a blockchain explorer. The system will automatically fill in the name and symbol. Make sure you select the correct blockchain network, for example, ERC-20 tokens must be added under Ethereum.

Tap "Browser" at the bottom of the wallet and manually switch to the corresponding blockchain network before entering the DApp, for example, choose Polygon Mainnet for Polygon. If the DApp requires a network that TPWallet does not include by default, go to "Settings - Networks - Add Network" and configure it manually, which requires RPC information.

Go to "Settings - Wallet - Security - Token Approvals" to view all DApp contracts you have authorized. Tap the contract and select "Revoke Permission." You will need to pay a small gas fee to complete the on-chain action. Regularly clearing unused approvals is recommended to reduce asset risk.

Check the progress by entering the transaction ID on the bridge's official website, such as THORChain. Check whether the destination wallet address supports the asset format; some chains require a specific memo tag. Contact the bridge's official customer support and provide the transaction hash for assistance.

The possibility is very low: blockchain transactions are irreversible unless the destination address's private key is controlled by you. Things to try: if the wrong address belongs to your wallet on another chain, for example, ETH and BSC addresses are the same, try importing that address into the corresponding chain to recover. Contact the receiving platform's customer support, such as an exchange, and provide the TxID to request manual handling. Success depends on their policy.

The only way is to use your backed-up recovery phrase to import the wallet on a new device. Steps: download TPWallet on the new phone and choose "Import Existing Wallet." Enter the complete 12/24-word recovery phrase in the correct order and set a new password. Never generate or store your recovery phrase through a third-party tool!
